What a beautiful location Raine’s place is in. Really close to Glasgow and the airport. It was ideal for where I was working during the week. The grounds are stunning, it feels like you are in the middle of a forest. The bungalow itself has everything you need, there is so much attention to detail which makes you feel very special indeed. The added bonus of a cooked breakfast is fantastic and Raine is such a lovely lady, you feel that nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend Raine’s place and I hope to stay there again when I am next working in the area. (July 2024)

Raine and her husband are the most lovely people!!!! Raine is such an amazing host! Her place is the cutest and it felt so clean. She really caters to your every need. She and her husband dropped us off and picked us up from the train station so we wouldn’t have to drive and find parking in Glasgow. When we came back we were presented with a fire. Raine was so sweet and did our laundry for us as well!!! I can’t say enough how wonderful our stay was. So relaxing, breakfast was delicious, and we were very comfortable. Best air b n b in Scotland!!! (June 2024)

Staying at Raine’s is staying there for the experience. She had a career in the hospitality industry and it shows! Everything is impeccable and she leaves treats about for her guests. And then there is breakfast! That alone is worth the stay! We enjoyed our stay and spending some time with our host. Would certainly stay there again! (June 2024)

Raine was a perfect host who made us feel welcome and comfortable in her cottage. Each evening when we arrived, she had a fire in the woodburning stove in the living room, and even though it was the last of April and the first of May, the weather was chilly, so the warmth felt so good. The towels and linens were comfy and Raine even provided cozy robes and slippers. Each morning, she made us a delicious breakfast serving it in the lovely conservatory where we looked out into her beautiful garden. Raine was so accommodating. We took a day trip to Edinburgh. She took us to the train station and came in with us to be sure we had our tickets, then, she picked us up later that day. Our last morning was an early one {5:30 a.m.} as we drove to Glasgow to fly back to the US. Raine had juice, milk, fruit, bread for toast and granola prepared for us when we came in on our last night. We would stay in Raine’s cottage again in a heartbeat. (May 2024)
